Bishop Gilbert Earl Patterson was a man with a vision for the people of God. He was known as a man, not only with a vision for today, but a vision for tomorrow. He was a man with a heart for the people of God. He not only made provisions for the Church of God in Christ and his own personal family but he strecthed forth his hands around the world and touched the lives of many.The loss of this great leader, a great man of God, brought tears to the eyes of many within the body of Christ and others throughout our society. This man's faith, love and compassion for the people of God is greatly missed. He spoke with the voice of a Bishop, the voice of an Apostle, the voice of a priest, and the voice of a Prophet who was sent by God for the people of God in his season. His lovely wife Evangelist Louise Patterson helped to enhance his ministry throughout his journey.(Submitted by Pat Glasper)
