God called Lou Baldwin to the Gospel ministry shortly after his conversion in 1976. He along with his wife, Jeanette, and three children were soon commissioned to plant what is now the thriving Crossroads Baptist Church in Bailey's Crossroads, Virginia. As the senior pastor, he is known for his powerful, practical preaching, and his consistent stand on Biblical principles and standards. He is a visionary with a compassion for people and a great love for children. His teaching and counsel have helped hundreds of families and individuals become the best that they can be for God. He and his wife, Jeanette, have two sons, Michael and Kenny, who serve on Dr. Baldwin's ministerial staff. His daughter, Dee Dee, is a teacher in the church's Christian Academy. His son-in-law (Lou), two daughters-in-law (Lora and Bethany) and nine grandchildren are all very active in the ministry as well.
